At first when i just finished Season 1. I thought that they would put all the Season 1 cast in Season 2 like Kuma. And that Shin and Yankumi would start dating or something? I wish they kept all the Season 1 cast through all Seasons. It would've been more interesting! :')

Notes: Set directly after(during) the ramen shop scene in the movie. Not entirely happy with it, but I never am anyways. Also, not sure if this fills the prompt in the way it was supposed to... o_o'

Prompt by selenity136: This takes place in the movie where Ryu becomes a student teacher. If you can expand this, it's great! But I do want to see where, during that whole scene at the ramen place...where things could go differently. Ryu making a joke that he is Kumiko's boyfriend--since it seems that all the guys have this conception that no man would want her.

So, recently I've been feeling the urge to write some Gokusen fanfics, but the problem is I am currently lacking inspiration.

So I am taking fic requests by any members here who want a hopefully decent story!

There are only two things you need to know before posting a request:

1. I haven't seen the anime nor read many chapters of the manga. I have, however, seen all series' of the drama and the movie (numerous times), so that's where my character knowledge and events will be coming from (does that makes sense/).

2. As unusual as it is these days, I don't do yaoi. I'm not really interested in it, and I don't think I could do a good job of it if my heart isn't in it (I'm betting that knocked a whole lot of requests out). And, I don't really see it that much in the series anyway (maybe I'm blind?).

That said, I'm willing to attempt any genre and characters you want.

Looking forward to your ideas (assuming there will be any). XD

Welcome to the first of, I hope, many discussions here at gokusen_love. I'll start it off and see what happens.

As we all know, Shin fell in love with Yankumi. Yankumi being Yankumi, was completely clueless. Oh, and she also was in love with Shinohara her family's lawyer. Quite the love triagle!

What do you think about Shin and Yankumi as a couple? Was it better when Yankumi had no idea Shin was in love with her? Do you think they, as a couple, have staying power? And, most importantly, does Shin become the "Young Red Lion", marry Yankumi, and take over with her as head of the Kuroda family?

Now, on the flip side, what about Shinohara? Do you think he had feelings for Yankumi? Would they have been suited as a couple? If they had managed to get together, would Shinohara have been able to take on the duties needed to be in charge of a crime family? Would he have allowed Yankumi to be Ojou?

First, I stopped moderated posting. Everyone can post to the community without having a mod approve it before it shows up. Membership is still moderated and will be for some time to come.

Next, I am going to designate Fridays as "Free For All Fridays". This will be our off topic day. I encourage members to participate and enjoy themselves. However, no posting any graphic pictures of any kind (nudity, partial nudity, gore, dead things, etc.). Post about random things and have fun!

I'll start discussions on Monday. Don't think that this means you can only post discussion on Mondays. Discussions can be posted any time to encourage everyone to voice their opinions and get real dialogue between members.

Would anyone like to do a re-read of the Gokusen chapters? Or do you want to post your favorite parts of the manga, anime, or live action drama? If so, go for it!

So, to get the community going again, I was thinking of a few things that we can all do.

1. Discussions. I or any member can start discussions on either the manga, anime, or live action series of Gokusen. We can bring up our favorite characters, voice actors, or actors. Have a favorite scene? Let us know! We can do this weekly.

2. Contests. I know, we've tried it before with little success, but I do think that we all love this series and we don't want the community to die out. So, I was thinking that we could do a writing contest, icon contest, and a fan art contest. What do you think?

3. Once a week we will offer an off-topic day. Post whatever you want, about whatever you want. Random silliness, gifs, stories, jokes, or what you have going on in your life. However, the rules of the community will still stand. No flaming, be polite to each other, and no adult material without a warning. Okay?

What day should we offer for off-topic day? A weekday or a weekend? Comment and let me know!
